I went to Bradley State Park on Sunday October 15, 2017. This was my first visit there but won't be my Last! I rode my bike through the woods and even crossed over the street to Willowdale Park. I saw 5 horses on the trail too which was awesome! The trails were great for biking and the area was very clean. I definately will be going again next weekend to explore the many other trails there!!!
I went specifically to viset the splash pad/ wadding pool. The pool is about 2 feet at it's deepest point. Deep enough for the younger kids to "swim" and older kids to float. Pool area is enclosed with some green space to put down blankets for a picnic. It also had a small playground
SAW A FOX HUNT ON THANKSGIVING DAY! crazy. I didn't expect to run in to that sort of thing. Walked about three miles down a paved road through the woods. it was lovely. No trash to speak of and the trails we were on were broad and well taken care of. Nice place. would walk again.
Pool is located about a mile from the main parking lot, but has a smaller lot is near the pool but opens at 10am while the park at 930.
Wonderful rolling hills of state owned by The reservation trust. The main building is used for rental in formal weddings It is called Willowdale. There are quite a few mountain bike castes as well as the ability for riding horses . A nice walk through the woods or a family picnic on the lawn
Visited the wedding reception location in the park area. Available open lot parking. Didn't walk into the public park area.
There is no food for sale, but a icecream truck did stop by for much of the day.
